{"id":2090,"date":"2026-08-24T12:05:10","date_gmt":"2026-08-24T12:05:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/alka.mk\/?p=2090"},"modified":"2026-08-24T12:05:11","modified_gmt":"2026-08-24T12:05:11","slug":"baseline-analysis-res-ee-in-rural-tourism","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/alka.mk\/index.php\/2026\/08\/24\/baseline-analysis-res-ee-in-rural-tourism\/","title":{"rendered":"Baseline Analysis: RES &amp; EE in Rural Tourism"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As part of the <strong>Energy Wise \u2013 Empowering Rural Tourism with RES &amp; EE Knowledge<\/strong> project, a baseline analysis has been conducted to assess the current state of <strong>renewable energy sources (RES)<\/strong> and <strong>energy efficiency (EE)<\/strong> practices among rural tourism providers in the Skopje Planning Region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The analysis examines energy consumption, awareness and knowledge of sustainable energy solutions, current adoption of RES and EE measures, as well as key barriers such as <strong>financial constraints, limited technical capacity, lack of information, and institutional gaps<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It also identifies the needs, capacities, and readiness of rural tourism stakeholders and local institutions for the <strong>green transition<\/strong>, highlighting opportunities to improve energy performance and promote sustainable tourism practices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The findings will serve as a <strong>baseline for monitoring project progress<\/strong> and will guide the development of targeted training and awareness-raising activities, ensuring that Energy Wise interventions respond to the actual needs of rural tourism providers.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As part of the Energy Wise \u2013 Empowering Rural Tourism with RES &amp; EE Knowledge project, a baseline analysis has been conducted to assess the current state of renewable energy sources (RES) and energy efficiency (EE) practices among rural tourism providers in the Skopje Planning Region.
