Addresses were also delivered by Mr Ben Nupnau, Acting Head of the Delegation of the European Union to North Macedonia, Mr Stefan Vangelski, Coordinator for Cross-Border Cooperation at the Ministry of Local Self-Government, Mr Bill Hughes, representative of FAI, the F\u00e9d\u00e9ration A\u00e9ronautique Internationale, and Mr Irland Sina, Deputy Mayor of the Municipality of Elbasan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The objectives, activities and results achieved so far within the project were presented by Ms Elizabeta Gjorgjievska, Project Manager. The project aims to support the development of sustainable, active and adventure tourism in the cross-border region through investments in tourism infrastructure, capacity building for local stakeholders, networking and joint promotion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As part of the project, two new take-off sites at Crn Vrv were promoted. The new infrastructure was developed as part of the Krushevo Paragliding Centre and provides improved conditions for pilots, increases the capacity of the centre and creates new opportunities for organising international competitions and developing adventure tourism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The event was also enriched by the \u201cTaste of Krushevo\u201d activity, where guests, participants and representatives of the national teams had the opportunity to experience Krushevo\u2019s traditional gastronomy and hospitality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With the FAI World Junior Paragliding Championship, \u201cKrushevo 2026\u201d, and the new investments in the Krushevo Paragliding Centre, Krushevo continues to strengthen
