Ms. Fiona Imami, PhD urban and regional planning

Ms. Fiona Imami, a seasoned professional with a PhD in urban and regional planning, serves as an expert in her field. Currently affiliated with the Co-PLAN Institute for Habitat Development in Albania, Fiona brings extensive experience in addressing development, environmental, and territorial governance challenges. Since 2020, she has dedicated her efforts to researching the concept of Just Green Transition, focusing particularly on the Western Balkans.

Fiona’s recent involvement in the GreenFORCE project under Horizon 2020 demonstrates her commitment to advancing research excellence in the realm of Just Green Transition within the Western Balkans. She has co-authored several noteworthy publications, including “Conceptualization of JGT in WB Countries” and “Just Green Transition in the Western Balkans: Overcoming ‘Transitions Fatigue.’
