Ms. Ivana Petkanovska, Head of EE and RES Department at CeProSARD

Ivana Petkanovska, holding an MSc in Architecture and Design, currently serves as the Head of the Energy Efficiency (EE) and Renewable Energy Sources (RES) Department at CEPROSARD. With over 18 years of pertinent professional experience, she has played key roles in the design, implementation, and monitoring of projects, serving as a project team leader, member of expert teams, and principal engineer. Ivana possesses hands-on experience in providing energy audits, drafting Energy Efficiency Programs, and formulating Sustainable Energy and Climate Action Plans. Notably, she has been responsible for organizing the energy audit training course at CeProSARD since 2014.

Ivana’s comprehensive knowledge extends to sustainable development, the energy and climate sector, making her an authority in her field. She has authored and co-authored numerous publications related to energy and energy efficiency. Her proficiency includes a deep understanding of national legislation pertaining to climate and energy, environmental protection, built heritage, and construction. Moreover, Ivana is well-versed in relevant EU policies and directives.

Actively engaged in the professional community, Ivana is a member of various Steering Committees and advisory bodies for national and regional projects, programmes and associations. She is a member of the National Steering Committee of the Global Environment Facility Small Grants, Programme (GEF SGP) Macedonia since 2018 and member of the Steering Committee of the Association of Licenced Energy Auditors (ZLEK). She is actively involved in expert teams and working groups within the civil society sector, focusing on environmental issues, energy, and climate change.
