The National Platform for Climate Change www.klimatskipromeni.mk is the main channel for communication about climate change and climate action in North Macedonia at both the national and local levels. It consists of various innovative and original communication tools that bring issues related to climate change closer to users and enable the implementation of timely mitigation and adaptation activities by all citizens.
Climate change is related to all sectors and its impacts are also reflected in all sectors (energy, transport, livestock and agriculture). Considering that climate change is a multisectoral issue, a multisectoral approach and close cooperation with many stakeholders is needed, which requires constant communication between all of them.
The climate change communication platform www.klimatskipromeni.mk was developed with technical and financial support from the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and the Global Environment Facility (GEF) and is maintained by the Ministry of Environment and Spatial Planning of the Republic of North Macedonia.
