Ekosphere is an electronic platform for communication and cooperation between citizens’ associations, institutions, the media and all citizens of the Republic of Macedonia on issues related to environmental protection.
Ecosphere was launched in 2014, and in 2016, at the annual meeting of environmental associations, it was accepted as a basic tool for communication between civil associations and state institutions.
The goal of Ekosphere is to enable smooth communication and cooperation between citizens’ associations and institutions in the environmental protection sector.
The platform aims to improve and develop the capacities of citizens’ associations for active participation in consultative processes, for adequate exchange of information, for monitoring the impacts on the environment and ecological trends at the local level, but also greater transparency and openness to the general public.
In addition to mutual cooperation, the platform aims to improve communication and cooperation with the relevant ministry, state institutions, the media as a whole, the expert public and all interested citizens of the Republic of Macedonia.
